Welcome to AVR Studio
AVR Studio is a Integrated Development Tool for the AVR family of microcontrollers,
included with the Atmel AVR Assembler. Other 3rd party compilers/assemblers can also be configured to be used within
AVR Studio.
This manual describes how to install and use AVR Studio.
AVR Studio enables the user to fully control execution of programs on
the built-in AVR Instruction Set Simulator, or on an AVR In-Circuit Emulator
(bought separately). AVR Studio supports source level execution of Assembly
programs assembled with the Atmel Corporation’s AVR Assembler, IAR Systems' Assembler
and C programs compiled with IAR Systems’ ICCA90 C Compiler for the AVR microcontrollers.
AVR Studio also support COFF as output format for symbolic debugging, and among
supporting 3rd party vendors are Imagecraft with C and E-lab with pascal.
