Up/Download Memories
The user can up- and download data to the SRAM and the EEPROM memories, using the Up/Download option in the File menu. Supply the name of the file to be Up- or Downloaded. The file format is Intel-Hex.

The Up/Download Memories appear on the File menu only after an object file has been loaded into AVR Studio.
 

You can also automatically save and restore the Eeprom memory. First select the file and then click on save/restore. AVR Studio will then save the Eeprom memory to the selected file when closed. Next time the user opens the project, the Eeprom memory is automatically loaded from the file.
